I have my Father's love of the outdoors, that has seen me trekking and shinning up mountains in various countries over the years. Mountain terrain dominates my landscape work, the very sense of being amongst mountains, alone and exposed to the elements makes me feel alive....Hiking up before dawn carrying tripod and alll the kit, makes it a labour of love in any case.
My landscapes are no patch on heroes like Colin Prior, David Noton, Joe Cornish and Ansel Adams (of course), but you can't beat trying to create a good landscape image for slowing you right down, sitting and pondering the view, the composition, the light, the universe, the pub..etc etc..
Anyway, here are a few of my landscapes from the Highlands of Scotland, Snowdonia, darkest Wiltshire and South Africa.
