personal work

Forgive me, but although my love of big budget staged images, with a twist of fashion, fun and frivolity shows through in my wedding and lifestyle photography, what I really work for is the opportunity to develop a wide and ambitious personal portfolio. Given my traditional darkroom background I can quite happily spend hours perfecting a black and white landscape image, that I have already spent days waiting for the right light, for no other audience but myself. However, a penchant for the occasional landscape is very much only part of the story.

The personal work you can see here covers such diversity as a £500 handbag in Swindon, the ancient capital of Siam, the Drakensberg mountains in South Africa and the island of Benguerra off the coast of Mozambique. Personal projects that are currently being pursued include photographing 'Men and their Garages', and the most ambitious project to date 'Nursery Rhymes'.
